The Spitfire is comprised of a low profile Grilamid® shell and a Carbon Reinforced Polymer cuff. Our patent pending Fast Lock System™ closure consists of the unique  Vertebra Technology™, a hardwearing ergonomic power structure that works like a backbone, and the innovative Cam Closure System™, which allows for the transition from ski to walk mode in just one super-fast movement guaranteeing a perfect comfortable lockdown fit. The Spitfire features maximum freedom of movement thanks to the EZ Flex™ system incorporated into the Pebax® tongue while the shell’s ergonomic profile facilitates the walk mode and enhances the general level of comfort thus allowing power to be conveyed directly to the skis. The removable WarmSole™ insole creates an insulating barrier against cold and make this one of the warmest in the two-buckle category.

• Vertebra Technology™: Carbon Reinforced Polymer (CRP) - PA12 Nylon and Carbon Fiber hardwearing ergonomic power structure that works like an exoskeleton (patent pending). It is the backbone of the cuff construction and guarantees maximum security and precision during downhill ski mode. No need for a stiff tongue, the power comes from the Vertebra when it is locked out in downhill mode.
• Cam Closure System™: A (patent pending) quick-release lock mechanism integrated to the Vertebra Technology™ spine comprising a springloaded cam activated by the QuickBuckle™.
• EZ Flex™ Tongue: no need to remove or insert our Pebax® tongue which uses our EZ Flex™ system derived from La Sportiva’s proven mountain boot technology. This innovative design guarantees unrestricted ankle movement for steep ascents and easy striding on flat ground. An added waterproof seal under the tongue provides protection against snow, ice and water.
• EZ Cable™: adjustable lower locking buckle works in conjunction with the EZ Flex™ Tongue so you can lock it down once and forget it all day long.
• 2BT Tech Heel™: minimization of volume around the heel for a precise and comfortable fit.
• WarmSole™ Insert: Fact - rubber outsoles conduct cold up from the bottom of ski boots. The Sideral sports a clever removable polyurethane ultra-lightweight insulating innersole that raises your foot up off the plastic floor of the boot and makes this one of the warmest two-buckle boots on the market.
• LazerGrip Outsole™: resoleable dual-density outsole has harder 75 shore edging platforms in the toe and heel areas for technical rock climbing performance. Softer density rubber is placed under the ball of the foot and heel for max shock absorption. Full rubber coverage under the arch of the foot for sure-footed scrambling in talus fields. Speed Step-in Locator allows fast positioning and mounting to the tech binding. Conforms to ISMF standards and compatible with all tech-style bindings
